Accounts
- Each account is one of: audience, filmmaker or host. It can't be changed later.
- You sign in with a code sent to your email.
Films and rooms
- Every film and every room is checked by CineConnect before it's listed.
- Filmmakers confirm they hold the rights to show their film. Nothing on CineConnect is exclusive.
- A night in a room goes on sale only when the filmmaker and the host agree the date, the price and the event. The host runs the night.
Money
- CineConnect keeps a flat 5% of every payment. Everything else is shared as the parties agree for each deal: in a room, the host's share of the door (usually 70%), with our 5% from the filmmaker's side ; a promoter's cut ; a sponsorship's split between filmmaker and room ; an investor's share of a film's earnings.
- Payouts are on the 1st and the 15th of each month, in rupees.
