CineConnect is where a finished film, a room that will show it, and an audience that wants a seat find each other.

Most independent films never reach a screen that is not a laptop. Most rooms spend nights empty, or on films they have already played. CineConnect is the place those two meet.

A film plays in a room. The people nearby buy a seat. The same night can happen again, in another city, the week after. When there is no room near someone, they can still watch online, from anywhere. A world online screening is one showing, at one time. The credits end. The filmmaker stays and takes questions.

The film can also be rented for a night or bought to keep. That is there for the people who missed the screening. The room is still why the site exists.

How the money works

We keep a flat 5%. In a room, the host and the filmmaker agree the room's share of the door, night by night; 70% is usual. The room keeps its share whole, and our 5% comes from the filmmaker's side. No listing fee, no exclusivity, no distributor.
